A Speech by Alex Berenson - CPAC FL 2022

Author and journalist, Alex Berenson, speaks at CPAC Florida 2022 on the issue of censorship. He calls for conservatives to take the moral high ground on free speech. While the Left embarks on censorship crusades, conservatives should practice what they preach and allow for the free and open discussion of ideas. As part of these efforts for genuine free speech, Berenson denounces the banning of books and movies on the Right.

Berenson is stunned by the radical efforts of the Left to censor diverse ideas. He cites a recent Department of Homeland Security announcement designating anyone dispersing so-called “disinformation” surrounding COVID a terrorist. Big tech joins the government in censorship efforts. Twitter and Facebook are common proponents of censoring conservative opinions. Berenson has been on the receiving end of these efforts. He is very familiar with the Left’s concerted efforts to end free speech.
