A Speech by Wayne La Pierre, CEO of the NRA - CPAC FL 2022

CEO of the National Rifle Association, Wayne LaPierre, speaks at CPAC Florida 2022 on the preservation of personal liberties and the Second Amendment. LaPierre criticizes President Biden for enabling violent criminals while abandoning innocent, law-abiding citizens. As a result, gun sales have skyrocketed. Even Hollywood celebrities, LaPierre reports, have been stocking up on firearms in record numbers. As elected officials defund law enforcement and eliminate consequences for violent crime, more and more Americans are taking their protection into their own hands. The Second Amendment beautifully allows Americans to do so when law enforcement institutions fail. The NRA is fighting for this freedom and the right to defend one’s self and bear arms. NRA members have repeatedly formed a blockade against Biden’s gun bans in Congress. The organization has fought long and hard for Americans’ Second Amendment rights and will continue to fight against all affronts on the constitutional and God-given right to self-defense.
