Mercedes Schlapp interviews Kari Lake at CPAC in DC 2024 on the most pressing issues in her bid for Senate in Arizona and the 2024 presidential election.
The border crisis is at the top of Lake’s list of issues to address. Her home state of Arizona is especially affected by the drug and human trafficking flowing across the border, but it has also become a nationwide crisis and even invasion.
“These are military-aged men. We have a foreign army inside our homeland right now, and they’ve got to go back to their homeland,” comments Lake on the border crisis.
Her solution is a repatriation program that promises to be America first.
“The American people cannot stand for taking care of everybody else’s problems when we have so many that have not been dealt with at home,” she says.
Lake supports President Donald Trump’s promises to address the border crisis by taking on the cartels from a national level, continuing construction on the wall, and codifying his border policies should he return to office in November, and she looks forward to partnering her policies with his to make America safe.
