Will Joe Biden be the Democrat nominee for President in 2024? Kurt Schlichter answers this questions and more straight from CPAC in DC 2024.
“I think he will [be the nominee] unless lightning strikes [and] we have a black swan event,” answered Schlichter. “He’s going to go in. There’s no way this guy is going to go.”
Schlichter joined the episode after speaking on a CPAC panel that discussed the rumors that Michelle Obama or Kamala Harris will replace Joe Biden as the Democrat presidential nominee. He calls those rumors “ridiculous” that “a nebulous unknown they”, presumed to be Barack Obama, would call the shots that would remove Joe Biden.
Schlichter uses his trial lawyer experience to also weigh in on the lawfare waged on President Trump. He points out a dangerous double standard in rules that the Left is creating but apply only to Trump.
Schlichter explains, “I think a lot of these people think there’s the Trump exception to everything, all norms, but [when] you throw out a norm, you throw out a guardrail, it’s not going to be there for you when you need it.”
