America UnCanceled: We Won't Back Down w/ @LaraLeaTrump

Host of The Right View, Lara Trump, covers the Tom Petty classic “I Won’t Back Down” as an anthem for conservatives across the nation and joins Mercedes Schlapp on America Uncanceled to reveal the background and special meaning attached to her new version of the old favorite.

After collaborating on a song earlier in the year for a music producer, the idea was born for Trump to sing and record a song herself. She chose “I Won’t Back Down” for its determined character, which she feels is a sentiment this country desperately needs in the current time.

“We better be standing up and standing strong to save this country because no one is coming to help us,” Trump says. She further remarked in regard to the events in the House of Representatives, “I just am happy to see a little fight in the Republican Party at this point. Man, we have needed that. It has felt like we’ve just been laying down and being run over by the Democrats at every turn.”

She believes, however, that the attacks on conservatives, especially those on her family and father-in-law, President Donald Trump, are exposing the malice of the Left and actually working to convert more Americans to the right side.

Trump’s version of “I Won’t Back Down” is available on Spotify, iTunes, SoundCloud, Pandora, and all major music streaming platforms.
