CPAC Now: @mercedesschlapp Talks With @Andrew_Langer About His New CPAC Podcast "Swamp Secrets"
Andrew Langer of CPAC’s Center for Regulatory Freedom joins Mercedes Schlapp for a conversation about the Biden administration’s new regulations on the Internet and Langer’s new podcast “Swamp Secrets Exposing Regulatory Dark Matter”.
The Biden administration recently submitted a set of new and sweeping regulations on the Internet to the FCC. The regulations would give total control of the Internet and speech online to the administrative state without the proper legislative process.
“They essentially want to recreate the Internet kill switch in the name of national security. We’ve been fighting against censorship on the Internet. Well, now that the Left no longer cares about censorship online, or they’re in favor of it, they want to go after it,” Langer explains.
Thus, the regulations would facilitate federally-sanctioned violations of the First Amendment as well as expand federal power and use the Internet to regulate the business practices of every industry. CPAC will take action to prevent the implementation of the regulations by offering comment cards for Americans to submit, sending a letter, and raising awareness.
Langer tackles all of current issues concerning regulation in his new CPAC Now podcast, “Swamp Secrets: Exposing Regulatory Dark Matter”.
