David McIntosh - CPAC 2021

David McIntosh, President of the Club for Growth, speaks on the objectives and audience of the Republican Party. He acknowledges that the Republican Party has more often than not been the party of the wealthy and the elite whereas the Democrat Party largely represented the working class. Recently, party lines have shifted and the working class has gravitated toward the Republican Party and elites have joined the Democrats. McIntosh says this means the party needs to speak to their new base and support hard working Americans. Republicans need to renew their commitment to protecting Americans’ livelihoods, rights to free speech, self-defense, and to vote in free and fair elections.
