CEO of Revere Payments Wendy Kinney, conservative political commentator John Cardillo, CEO of Patriot Mobile Glenn Story, and host of The Bill Walton Show, Bill Walton sit on a panel at CPAC 2023 where they discuss ESG and large corporations driving small business out of business. Cardillo has seen in his experiences in the private equity sector how easily a business can lose its ability to bank just because its ESG footprint has been determined to be unacceptable by the boards of woke financial companies. This practice is infringing on the ability of certain businesses to operate and is expected to expand beyond businesses to individual people whose ESG score would be determined by their internet or social media activity. ESG is essentially an excuse to unjustly discriminate against businesses and individuals and rid the business sector of all companies but woke-adhering ones. At the same time, it is monopolizing certain large corporations by eliminating small businesses and thus eliminating competition. The end game of the Left in doing so is to centralize banking and the currency to easily track individuals’ purchases and behaviors. The solution is to turn to the small businesses that still exist. Story’s Patriot Mobile and Kinney’s Revere Payments, for example, are forming the alternative conservative business infrastructure that will carry on freedom in business.
