Kari Lake joins Elaine Beck on this episode of It’s Not About Us from CPAC DC 2023.
Lake details her journey into politics, her campaign story, and her journey to justice for the Arizona gubernatorial election. Lake left her high-profile, lucrative job in broadcast journalism after feeling defeated by the falsities spewed through cable news. The time was not an easy one for Lake, who labored over the decision to leave her career behind. During that time and especially the COVID-19 pandemic, Lake drew closer to God. She fostered a deeper prayer life and delved into Scripture.
“COVID was a huge return to my faith and it solidified how important it is we all come back to God, and I think people are in droves. So, there’s good things happening in the world. As tough as it feels, there’s good things happening in the world,” Lake said.
Her faith and prayer life grew and helped her during her campaign, and she realized that electing God-fearing individuals to office was far more important than anything else, even her past job and salary.
Lake’s story is a testament to the power of God, and she tells it in the hope that it gives encouragement to others.
