Energy Insecurity — CPAC TX
Joshua Phillipp of Epoch Times moderates a panel with Vice President of the Heritage Foundation James Carafano, Texas Representative Beth Van Duyne, and Alabama Representative Gary Palmer on the issue of energy security, or insecurity rather.
Energy policy has come to affect every facet of American life. It no longer only impacts a select group of people or industry. Now, it has implications whether average Americans can heat or cool their homes and fill their cars with gas. Carafano drives this point home, “If you lose on this fight, you will starve.”
The irrational energy policies of the Biden administration threaten the United States’ safety on the international stage and compromises the stability of the domestic economy and infrastructure. Continuing to rely on Russia, China, and OPEC countries for oil and gas keeps the United States under the thumb of our enemies who mean to annihilate America. Refusing to source energy domestically also drives inflation domestically, causing the prices of everything to increase significantly.
Thus, the panel urges Americans to get out and vote for representatives who will stand on the right side of such a paramount issue.
