Freedom of Assembly - CPAC FL 2021
Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi speaks on freedom of assembly in light of a pandemic that prevented Americans from gathering. The ability to gather has been pivotal in United States’ history. The right to assemble moved the civil rights’ cause forward in the mid-twentieth century, and even Alexis de Tocqueville praised this right in the nineteenth century. Bondi argues that the right to peacefully assemble is worthy of fighting to preserve for its integrality to a free American society.
