It's Not About Us: @elaineebeck1 & Michael Meshire
Retired border patrol agent Michael Meshire opens up to Elaine Beck about his experience in border patrol and the infiltration of sleeper cells through the southern border.
After twenty-seven years in border patrol, Meshire has seen all the ways cartels, human traffickers, and terrorists manipulate the system and take advantage of the loose border security under the Biden administration to enter the United States. Among the atrocities he has witnessed are drugged victims of trafficking in desperate need of medical attention and a hundred bodies of dead migrants.
Meshire explains that President Trump’s border policies and border wall significantly helped patrol perform their jobs and secure the border, “When Trump was in office, border patrol agents were really happy because this huge fence went up and you could have a naysayer say, ‘Well, they’re going to go through it, under it, or over it’, but yes, it slows them down enough for us to detect that traffic and make those arrests. Our arrests went skyrocketing down. It was ninety percent contained, which is not what’s going on right now.”
Now, Meshire says individuals on the terrorist watchlist are known to be present in the United States, specifically in Tuscon, Arizona, and dwindling border patrol numbers are struggling to keep up with the flow of migrants. He asks for average Americans to support their border patrol with prayer and by voting for officials with common sense border security policies.
