It's Not About Us

Brad Bedford of Family Research Council shares his journey in faith and ministry that has led him to FRC.

Bedford’s mission at FRC is to spread and protect the values of faith, family, and freedom, and though at times it seems like an impossible task in the current cultural climate, he knows that God has given him this mission for a reason and has prepared him for it.

“I love the scripture out of I think 2 Peter 1:3, “seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything that we need for life for godliness.” It’s all past tense, and that’s one thing I like is the finished work of the cross, what He’s already done for us. It’s not that we’re having to earn it…He’s already given it to us,” Bedford explains.

In order to put these gifts has God given us to good use, Bedford says, “We need to be believers and receive what He has provided for us and to walk through it with boldness.”

Boldness has perhaps never been more needed from Christians and all conservatives to be loud about their beliefs and spread the Good News to others.
