It's Not About Us: @elaineebeck1 & @ChadNedohin
Jared Cummings, studio director at Proverbs Media Group, substitutes for Elaine Beck on this episode of It’s Not About Us where he talks with Canadian worship leader and DWAC the SEC co-founder Chad Nedohin.
Nedohin is a Christian worship leader and artist who became involved in politics after he felt God calling him during the COVID-19 pandemic to continue his ministry through political activism. He helped found DWAC the SEC as a coalition of shareholders who were disenfranchised for their connection to conservative groups. Their goal is to pressure the SEC into reforming to its original intent of protecting shareholder from sham companies rather than targeting shareholders and restricting their actions based on their political persuasion.
“So, what we know as shareholders, ist hat there are two primary people at the sEC who have a hate on for us: Gary Genzler, who was Hilary Clinton’s campaign finance officer,…and then Melissa Hodgman, who is the head of enforcement at the SEC, and her husband is Peter Strzok,” Nedohin explains. “So, we heard something recently, that prior to the Biden administration, investigations at the SEC were as they were supposed to be, which is they have to start with a shareholder or complaint and form the bottom up the agent who takes that complain starts and opens everything. Since the Biden administration has taken over, all investigations have started from the top down when somebody like Genzler or Hodgman says, ‘We want this company targeted,’ and they go after them.
Nedohin and his fellow DWAC the SEC members are heavily concerned with the targeting of Truth Social that is further encroaching on free speech, which in the current climate, is effectively non-existent in Nedohin’s home country of Canada. A recent agreement between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Google that legally allows the federal government to direct censorship online almost ensures the suppression of conservative voices.
“Canadian’s need Truth Social too. We need it badly,” Nedohin said.
