Elaine Beck’s granddaughter Danielle Wane shares her story of forgiveness as Beck and Wane kick off their new grassroots effort to encourage prayer and community called We Are Not Enemies.

Wane brings her story of choosing to forgive a man who deeply hurt her as a child over dwelling on anger and pain as an example of the kind of mercy and charity the world needs to embrace in the current moment. Her story speaks to the mission of We Are Not Enemies.

“We understand now that in order to save this land we must forgive our enemies. You said it. Now we need to take the action,” Beck declares.
