Katie Pavlich moderates a panel with Charlie Kirk, Grant Strobl, Chandler Thornton, Marcus Fotenos, and Stephen Rowe at CPAC 2018 where they discuss conservatism on college campuses. The panelists, as foot soldiers on college campuses, have firsthand experience in the liberal bias of academic centers. As students, Fotenos and Strobl fought pronoun policies, safe spaces, restrictions on speech, and the liberal propaganda of professors. Other panelists, like Kirk, have experienced hostility as a guest speaker on college campus. Many colleges have outright banned conservative speakers or restricted the time and place of their appearance so as to discourage attendance. Fotenos, Stroble, Thornton, and Rowe encourage students to find courage and be bold for their principles. Rowe specially speaks to African American conservatives, who are often accused of being traitors to their race, urging them to engage in dialogue with liberals and educate them about socialism and history.
