Kristi Noem - CPAC TX 2021
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem speak on her childhood in South Dakota and her vision for the future of America. Noem is a new grandmother and was prompted by the birth of her granddaughter to contemplate her own youth and the future. She signed onto the 1776 pledge to ensure that her granddaughter and future generations learn the true history of the United States. The pledge promises to combat Critical Race Theory and foster healthy patriotism in the youth. The indoctrination of America’s children is the primary threat according to Noem right now and the second biggest threat is the open border. Noem activated South Dakota National Guard to go to the southern border to support border patrol. She boasts too that her state was a bastion of freedom during the pandemic as the only state that did not shutdown their business. Noem says that South Dakota has done the things conservatives have always promised to and they did it effectively. She challenges conservatives to emulate the courage of our founding fathers and Revolutionary War soldiers by fighting for freedom in the face criticism and adversity.
