In this panel discussion at CPAC Hungary 2023, Magor Dukász, director of Dukász Digital, moderates a conversation with Holland political commentator Eva Vlaarrdingerbroek, Tim Constantine of the Washington Times and host of The Capitol Hill Show, and Josh Hammer, host of The Josh Hammer Show. The panel airs the various challenges conservative media faces worldwide. Conservatives are universally experiencing oppression by mainstream and state-controlled media and social media. In all countries, conservative messages are being censored by big tech and run out of business by liberal media outlets, which intentionally disperse genuine misinformation. Though the entire world is affected by this phenomenon, the issue is worse in European countries like Holland has virtually no conservative news outlets. Vlaardingerbroek observes that in countries like Holland free speech exists in theory but has been effectively eradicated in practice through the influence of state-controlled media. In the United States, free speech still exists in so far as conservative outlets are still in business and conservative voices still dominate areas like talk radio. Still, free speech is certainly under attack by the left-wing corporations in big tech that are silencing conservative figures on their platforms. Because of this, Hammer and many representatives in Congress are advocating for the busting up of these monopolies and removal of protections and privileges for these companies.
