Hudson and Matt Schlapp are co-authoring a book detailing their personal experiences with cancel culture and their general observations of the phenomenon as a movement. Mercedes Schlapp cites their faith as the means to carrying them through the criticism, slander, and ostracization thrown their way. Matt Schlapp is additionally inspired by the path for greater freedom that the Civil War and the leadership of President Lincoln paved.
