Neville Chamberlain of Commerce, Corporate America Surrendering to China - CPAC FL 2021
Gordon Chang moderates a panel at CPAC Florida 2021 with James Carafano at The Heritage Foundation, Pennsylvania Representative Scott Perry, and Joshua Philipp of The Epoch Times. The panel discusses the Chinese Communist Party and American economic policy. Current American economic policy is perpetuating the CCP’s criminal activity. American companies are still sourcing cheap goods and materials from Chinese slave labor. Divorcing ourselves from Chinese manufacturing requires the American people to wean themselves away from cheap Chinese-produced goods and demand a higher standard for sourcing from American companies because this is not only a national security issue for us but a moral and humanitarian issue for the Chinese people. The CCP and Chinese people ought to be dealt with differently, one as an abuser and the other as a victim. The CCP is not America’s friendly trade partner. It is an admitted enemy to the United States and all countries of the free world, and it is bent on unrestrained warfare.
