President Trump speaks at CPAC 2018 on the accomplishments of his administration in just the first year of this term. Trump cut taxes, deregulated industry, reopened the oil, coal, and gas industries, and improved foreign trade deals. Reopening the energy industry has promoted remarkable nationwide growth in the United States and allowed the country to compete on the world stage, to the detriment of our enemies. Trump’s deregulation initiatives won the support of farmers and home builders for freeing up their lives, restoring their dignity, and allowing their business to grow. Additionally, he partially dismantled Obamacare, freeing up choices in medical care and making it more accessible and affordable.
Trump also improved relations with our allies, primarily in a controversial decision that moved the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to the capital city of Jerusalem. He bolstered our own military, backed law enforcement, and sought to protect the country by restricting illegal immigration on the southern border through the construction of a wall and the ending of Obama-era catch-and-release policies.
Trump is turning special attention to securing schools after the tragic school shooting in Parkland, Florida. Of all the establishments protected with armed security, schools, where the most vulnerable of the population gather, are left unprotected as gun-free zones.
Trump is leading America first policies while sowing the seeds of patriotism once again in Americans.
