Protecting Elections Part 2: Other Culprits: How Judges & Media Refused to Look at the Evidence: Denise Cohen, Deroy Murdock, Jesse Binnall, Hans von Spakovsky
CPAC Florida 2021
Denise Cohen moderates a panel at CPAC Florida 2021 with Hans von Spakovsky, Deroy Murdock, and Jesse Binnall about election integrity. The panelists address the inaction of judges and the media on election fraud cases and the measures conservatives need to implement to ensure election integrity. Judges in courts around the country, and even the Supreme Court, are refusing to consider cases of election fraud, such as a particularly high-profile and substantial case in Texas. Binnall believes judges, in these cases, were influenced by the narratives of the mainstream media that denied the occurrence of any fraud in the 2020 election. CNN even calls conservatives’ concern with election integrity “voter suppression”, when, in fact, the Left is targeting vulnerable groups of voters to commit fraud and even bribing them to do so. The panelists conclude that conservatives need to combat election fraud by continuing to challenge instances of fraud in court, implement state election laws that encourage in-person voting, and kill the H.R. 1 Bill that would relax voting requirements nationwide, allowing for more instances of fraud.
