Protecting Elections pt. 6, Successful States - CPAC FL 2021
CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp speaks with Matt Whitaker, Michael Whatley of the North Carolina Republican Party, and Tommy Hicks of the Republican National Committee at CPAC Florida 2022 on the lessons to be learned from several states that took exemplary steps to protect election integrity. Florida learned from the 2000 recount and implemented strong election integrity measures. Iowa, too, took measures to protect their voting system, and Whitaker testifies to his state’s absentee voting security measures that assigns a unique PIN to each absentee voter. The RNC is working to export similar measures such as, reducing mail-in and absentee voting and requiring photo identification prior to casting a vote, to other states.
