Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke and Secretary of Energy Rick Perry speak together at CPAC 2018 about energy policy. American energy independence is beneficial for the American people and the rest of the world. Energy independence reduces the price of gas and goods. It makes filling up their cars affordable for Americans. The ingenuity that results from encouraged American energy production aids the rest of the world in improving energy production and processing. In fact, America is one of the cleanest produces of energy in the world. Places like Africa and Asia, however, have yet to implement standards for clean production. American energy independence is facilitated by the deregulation of the oil and gas industry and use of public lands. When energy companies prosper in the United States, the American people prosper thanks to the lower prices of gas and goods. The deregulation of public lands, in turn, allows energy companies to utilize the rich natural resources of this country and thus, prosper further. Zinke and Perry praise the work of President Trump to beat back the government’s control of the energy industry.
