Sara Carter and Gordon Chang speak at CPAC Texas 2021 about tyranny abroad and the United States’ stance international relations. The Biden administration has overseen a number of victories for tyrannical regimes abroad in Afghanistan, China, and Latin America. The United States’ exit from Afghanistan abandoned American citizens there to terrorist overlords. Biden has also seen the expansion of China’s sphere of influence in Hong Kong and Latin America. China is feeding Latin American drug cartels with fentanyl to send over the southern border into the United States. In so doing, China is perpetrating the human enslavement at the hands of drug cartels, and by allowing the southern border to remain open, the Biden administration is cooperating with the raping, killing, and enslaving of migrants as well as the drug epidemic sweeping the United States. Big tech, too, is participating in the promulgation of communist and terrorist messaging by refusing to censor official Chinese and Iranian content on social media. Chang and Carter suggest that the best way to combat the attacks of the United States’ adversaries is to prioritize America first, primarily through strengthening our economic position.
