John Fund of National Review, Grant Newsham from K-CPAC, and Matt Whitaker and Denise Cohen of the American Conservative Union sit on a panel at CPAC Texas 2021 where they discuss election integrity. Conservatives face an uphill battle in fighting election fraud due to the thin line between incompetency and intentional fraud and the manipulation of election laws by Democrat cronies at the state and local levels. Efforts to combat election fraud, though difficult is nonetheless important. Even the smallest changes, such as, extending the voting period can make a huge difference is swaying the outcome of elections in favor of Democrats. As such, the country needs common sense election security measures like voter ID requirements. Effective change is in the hands of the individual states to reevaluate their election laws, mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, voting period, and voter rolls. Ultimately, election integrity is a civil rights issue in so far as all Americans have a right to vote in free and fair elections.
