The Bill Walton Show with Jenny Beth Martin and Robert Epstein
Robert Epstein, Senior Research Psychologist at American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology joins Bill Walton and visiting co-host Jenny Beth Martin, leader of the Tea Party Patriots on this episode of The Bill Walton Show.
The trio engages in a conversation on the powers of big tech companies in light of manipulated search results and online content influencing the last two presidential elections. Epstein has delved deep into researching the extent of the power and influence of tech companies, especially Google, after his own website was hacked, and Google, rather then the government or a third-party organization, played referee in controlling access to the site.
“I started to look at them differently, not just as a useful toy. But what is there about this company? What kind of powers do they actually have? Who gave them those powers, if anyone? So, I started to get curious. Over time, by the end of that year, I started to ask specific questions about Google,” Epstein explained. “The more I have learned over the years through the research I’ve done, the more I’ve learned about them, the more concerned I’ve become.”
His research has yielded findings that Google essentially has omnipotence over all the information on every Google platform. He found that the search engine, Google maps, Android phones, Google Analytics, and the e-mail system are surveilling Americans, collecting their data, sharing it with thousands of undisclosed business partners, and manipulating access to information. He also found evidence that Google used their collected information to intentionally manipulate advertisements and search results to influence votes in the recent elections.
Epstein brought his findings to Washington, D.C. and testified before Congress in 2019 in an effort to compel the federal government to step in to regulate Google and other big tech companies that are abusing their influence and access to monitor and manipulate Americans. Epstein has faced devastating hardships, including the death of his wife and an assault on an employee’s family member, in the aftermath of bringing his findings to light.
Epstein is still determined to continue his research to expose the insidious nature of Google. He is turning his attention currently to delve deeper into Google’s indoctrination of children and preparing an app that tracks the ephemeral content Google pushes on kids so that parents can see exactly what their children are seeing.
