Is the legend of man-made climate change true? And if it is, is it really as bad as Left-wing climate alarmists say? Bill Walton brings Dr. William Happer and Gregory Wrightstone of the CO2 Coalition in to answer these questions and more on The Bill Walton Show.
Happer and Wrightstone are in agreement that science and history make it clear that man’s activity has little affect on the climate and that a climate trending warmer is not at all a negative reality. Instead, basic science tells us that both humans and plants need CO2 to live, that increased CO2 causes a longer growing season and higher-quality produce, and that viruses thrive in cold climates. The Black Plague and other diseases in Medieval Europe thrived in the cooling climate of the time causing widespread death and sickness. Another look at history indicates that the climate has always been changing long before man of the industrial revolution pumped greenhouse gases into the air.
Climate alarmists of late through long-term groupthink have effectively spread the lie that suddenly in the middle of the twentieth-century climate change causes shifted from natural contributors to solely the activity of man.
Wrightstone counters this narrative, “Those same natural forces that were driving temperatures since the time of George Washington upwards are in action today.”
Wrightstone and Happer have authored a new book with the intention of dispelling the myth of man-made, evil climate change. They see entire generations who have been so brainwashed for their whole lives by political agents like Al Gore and John Kerry that they’ve never encountered the truth. Their book, “A Very Convenient Warming“ is an opportunity for everyone to encounter the science and history-based truth about the climate in contrast to the emotionally and politically-driven appeals of Left-wing environmentalists.
