Town Hall: Pupil Propaganda with Candace Owens - CPAC FL 2022
Personal Liberties: Parental Rights
Candace Owens addresses the CPAC Florida 2022 audience before hosting a panel on on parental rights and education. Owens speaks on American culture’s attitude toward children. She uses the behavior of bears as a device to illustrate the reality that mother bears are more protective of their cubs than human mothers are of their children. That is to say, that animals, having no intellect or rationality, recognize the value of their offspring more so than the highest creature on earth, humans. Mothers and fathers inexplicably allow their children to be subjected to inappropriate curriculum on gender, sexuality, and race in schools and to be treated as pawns of the state. Parents have allowed the government to control the household, driving women out of the domestic sphere into the corporate world and children out of the home into state-run daycare. The pandemic revealed this reality most clearly. Many American parents allowed themselves and their children to be controlled by the so-called experts in the government and the scientific fields. Becoming a mother herself has revealed to Owens poignantly that the parents are the experts on their own children, not doctors, not scientists, and not politicians.
