Vaclav Klaus - CPAC Hungary 2022

Vaclav Klaus founded a conservative party in the aftermath of the communist occupation of Hungary. He shares the story of his party at CPAC Hungary 2022. Klaus’ party was successful, winning the first two free and open elections in the country. He stands appalled by the radical ideas of the world today that alter the family and gender and that ostracize conservative ideas. Klaus believes that returning to conservative ideas would be revolutionary at this point considering the enormous advantages of the other side and the dysfunctions of our side. Still, the dangers of the Left’s upturning of traditional principles, of its radical environmentalism, rejection of religion and human dignity, and new morals make the fight worthwhile. Conservatives worldwide have an obligation to mount an attempt at defeating these evils.
